The Fun Begins
My sister and I went ziplining at Smoky Mountain Ziplines in Pigeon Forge, TN. We had a great time enjoying the adventure together! After we checked in, the two guides Tyler and Mark suited us up with the proper gear that is needed to zipline. I brought my GoPro to get some awesome footage. Tyler provided me with a special helmet to mount the GoPro on so it was nice and secure.
They also gave us canvas pouches to hook onto our gear to put our cell phones and camera in. When the group was ready to go, they transported us to the ziplines by riding in the back of a military truck. This was a good time to chat with the group while heading up the mountain and feeling the excitement.
Gliding Through the Smoky Mountains
As the military truck dropped us off by the first zipline, we gathered together while the guides spoke to us about safety instructions. During this time, the guides demonstrate what position to be in when zipping through the lines. After that, we were ready to take on the adventure. My sister went before me so Mark hooked her to the line and made sure everything was secure before she met Tyler at the other end. I took some pictures of her before she zipped so we can remember this one-of-a-kind experience together.
Treetop Views
We glided from one treetop to the next enjoying the stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains. We could see Mt. LeConte along with other scenic mountains when we zipped across the lines. I posed for a picture perfect view because I was so in awe of the beautiful sight. My sister and I were glad the guides gave us pouches to put our cell phones and camera in, so we could capture this special moment.
Experience Smoky Mountain Ziplines
This will be a memory I will never forget. My sister and I had a great time laughing and talking about the experience we had as we met each other with excitement on the other side of the lines. The fun never stopped from the time we arrived until the time the tour came to an end. The customer service was great from the base camp, zipping through the lines, and coming back down to end the tour. Everyone at Smoky Mountain Ziplines gave us an unforgettable experience.
