CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains offers an unforgettable way to experience the natural beauty of the Smokies from above! The fully guided Mountaintop Zipline Tour combines 11 unique adventures into one exciting experience. Your journey begins with a rugged, 1.5-mile UTV ride that climbs approximately 500 feet up the mountain. From there, you’ll soar through the trees on side by side ziplines, cross suspension skybridges high above the forest floor, and finish with a controlled rappel.
No previous ziplining experience is necessary. CLIMB Works’ trained guides handle the equipment and braking system throughout the tour, so guests do not have to brake with their hands or pull themselves across the cables. The guides also share information about the surrounding landscape, creating an experience that combines outdoor adventure, education, and Smoky Mountain scenery.
The Mountaintop Zipline Tour takes approximately two hours, during which your feet remain off the ground as you move between ziplines, bridges, platforms, and aerial features. Guests should wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Participants must be at least 5 years old and 42 inches tall. Guests who are under 5 feet 10 inches must weigh less than 250 pounds, while those who are 5 feet 10 inches or taller must weigh less than 270 pounds. Children ages 5–14 must have a participating adult on the tour.
CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains is open year-round but closed on Sundays. Reservations are strongly encouraged, especially during busy travel seasons, and guests should arrive 40 minutes before their scheduled tour.
