Celebrating 51 Years—The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair Is Still Going Strong!
Fall Fair: October 8–28, 2026
Celebrate handmade artistry at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair, a beloved Smoky Mountain tradition held twice each year at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the South’s most popular events, the juried fair brings skilled artisans and craftspeople from across the United States to Gatlinburg.
The July 2026 Summer Craftsmen’s Fair featured more than 180 booths, while the upcoming Fall Craftsmen’s Fair will fill the convention center with more than 200 booths of handmade products. Visitors can shop for pottery, jewelry, woodwork, leather goods, textiles, paintings, copper art, seasonal décor, specialty foods, and many other one-of-a-kind creations.
One of the fair’s highlights is the opportunity to meet the makers behind the work. Many exhibitors demonstrate their skills, answer questions, and explain the techniques used to create their pieces. Every participating artist undergoes a jury process designed to ensure the originality and quality of the products represented at the fair.
Shopping is only part of the experience. Daily musical performances are included with admission, with shows scheduled at noon and 3 p.m. Guests can enjoy country, bluegrass, and gospel music while taking a break from browsing the convention center’s 150,000 square feet of exhibits.
Whether you’re shopping for unique gifts, adding handmade pieces to your home, or simply enjoying the creativity of talented American craftspeople, the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair is a memorable addition to a Smoky Mountain visit.
