Experience one of the most unique adventures in the Smoky Mountains at Outdoor Gravity Park in Pigeon Forge, the only zorbing park in the United States. Inspired by the adventure sport that originated in New Zealand, zorbing sends riders rolling down a 1,000-foot hill inside a giant 11-foot inflatable orb for a gravity-powered experience filled with slipping, sliding, and plenty of laughter.
The experience is known as H2OGO zorbing. Riders climb inside the orb with water and slide around inside as the ball rolls downhill. Rather than tumbling head-over-heels with the orb, guests slip and slide along the bottom for an experience that feels like a giant downhill water slide. Up to three people can ride together on select tracks, making it a fun adventure to share with family and friends.
Outdoor Gravity Park currently offers three different zorbing tracks, each delivering its own type of thrill. The Purple Track is a fast downhill ride that accommodates up to three people. The popular Red Track combines speed with twists and turns and can also accommodate up to three riders. For those ready for an even bigger challenge, the Orange Track is an advanced zig-zag course designed for solo riders and requires guests to complete another track first.
Zorbing isn’t just a summertime activity. Outdoor Gravity Park operates year-round, using cool water during the warmer months and water heated up to 90 degrees when temperatures drop. Guests should plan to get wet and are encouraged to bring a swimsuit or quick-drying clothes, a towel, and a change of clothes.
Families with younger adventurers can join the fun too. Children age 5 can zorb with a parent or guardian, while guests ages 6 and older can ride independently. There are no minimum height or weight requirements, making the experience accessible to a wide range of visitors.
In addition to its downhill zorbing courses, Outdoor Gravity Park offers the Fishpipe, a rotating 11-foot orb that creates the feeling of a never-ending water slide. Up to three people can climb inside and slip and slide as the Fishpipe rotates, with the speed controlled for a customized experience.
Outdoor Gravity Park also welcomes groups and private events, including birthday parties, school field trips, corporate events, fundraisers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and other special occasions. Guests can refuel at The Downhill Grill, the park’s on-site food truck, and ride video packages are available for those who want to take home footage of their adventure.
Located at 203 Sugar Hollow Road just off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Outdoor Gravity Park offers a Smoky Mountain experience unlike anything else in the country. Whether you’re rolling down the hill with friends, taking on the advanced track solo, or trying the Fishpipe, it’s a memorable way to add a completely different kind of adventure to your Pigeon Forge vacation.
