Everyone knows the name Titanic. Most know about the iceberg and the tragic events of April 15, 1912. But at the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge, visitors discover the stories of the real people who sailed aboard the legendary ship.
Step aboard this immersive museum experience and explore a collection of more than 400 authentic Titanic artifacts along with detailed recreations and interactive exhibits. Rather than simply viewing history from behind glass, guests are invited to experience elements of life aboard Titanic while learning about the passengers and crew whose stories continue to be remembered more than a century later.
Your journey begins with a boarding pass representing an actual Titanic passenger or crew member. As you make your way through the museum, costumed crew members share stories and historical details that help bring the ship and its passengers to life.
Walk the full-scale replica of Titanic’s magnificent Grand Staircase, recreated using the ship’s original plans and featuring detailed woodwork and wrought-iron elements inspired by the original. Explore recreations of first- and third-class accommodations and discover how dramatically the experience of crossing the Atlantic differed depending on where a passenger stayed.
Interactive exhibits add another dimension to the experience. Touch 28-degree water to understand the frigid conditions passengers faced on the night of the sinking, attempt to maintain your balance on increasingly steep ship decks, and explore additional hands-on elements throughout the museum.
The museum honors the 2,208 passengers and crew members who were aboard Titanic, placing their individual stories at the heart of the experience. At the end of your journey, discover the fate of the person represented on your boarding pass, creating a personal connection to the history you’ve explored.
For an additional experience, the Pigeon Forge attraction now offers the Titanic Dining Experience. This immersive, first-class-inspired dinner transports guests into an elegant dining setting with period inspired food, characters, and storytelling connected to Titanic’s history. Availability and reservations for this special experience should be checked in advance.
Titanic Museum Attraction is located at 2134 Parkway in Pigeon Forge. Allow plenty of time to explore the galleries, artifacts, recreations, and interactive exhibits as you uncover the stories behind one of history’s most famous ships.
