Turn your world upside down at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge, an indoor amusement park for the mind filled with more than 100 interactive exhibits designed to make science, imagination, and discovery fun.
You can’t miss WonderWorks as you travel along the Parkway. The massive upside-down building looks as though it landed roof-first in Pigeon Forge, setting the stage for the unusual experiences waiting inside. Once you enter, pass through the inversion tunnel and prepare to explore 35,000 square feet of hands-on “edu-tainment.”
The adventure is divided into six Wonder Zones, each focusing on a different area of discovery. Explore the Extreme Weather Zone, Physical Challenge Zone, Space Discovery Zone, Light & Sound Zone, Imagination Lab, and Wonder Art Gallery as you experiment, compete, and put your curiosity to the test.
Experience the forces of nature in the Extreme Weather Zone. Feel hurricane-force winds, discover what an earthquake can feel like, and learn about some of the powerful natural events that shape our planet.
Put your body to the test in the Physical Challenge Zone. Lie on a bed of thousands of nails, test your strength and coordination, compete in physical challenges, and discover how science plays a role in the way your body moves.
Blast off in the Space Discovery Zone, where exhibits explore astronauts, space travel and life beyond Earth. Climb into a replica space capsule, experience astronaut-inspired challenges, and learn more about the science and technology behind space exploration.
Light, sound, and imagination take center stage throughout the remaining zones. Experiment with giant bubbles, create music and visual effects, explore optical illusions and discover interactive exhibits that encourage creativity and hands-on learning.
The adventure doesn’t end with the exhibits. WonderWorks is also home to an indoor glow in the dark ropes course suspended several stories above the ground. Navigate obstacles, bridges, and other challenges while safely secured in a harness.
Then gather your crew for a round of laser tag in the black light arena, where players compete in a fast paced indoor challenge filled with glowing obstacles and plenty of friendly competition.
With more than 100 exhibits and activities under one upside-down roof, WonderWorks combines science, entertainment, and hands-on discovery in an experience designed for families, groups, and curious minds.
WonderWorks is located at 100 Music Road in Pigeon Forge, near Traffic Light #0 on the Parkway. Because the attraction is indoors, it’s an easy addition to a Smoky Mountain itinerary in any season or weather.
